My Audi A6 HID headlamps were yellow and you couldn’t actually see the lamp under the lens.

Now, I’m rubbish at DIY and was a bit scared as I started off.
Make sure you put plenty of masking tape on the surrounding area, it’s better to put too much on than not enough. As the 500 grit disc went to work the lens started to change from lightly frosted yellow to heavilly frosted white. I thought “What have I done” but kept going – following the video on YouTube.
Changing to 800 grit disc was pretty much the same. Changing to the 3000 grit disc with water was a bit messy but within seconds the lens started to appear much clearer. After the polishing compound foam pad I was amazed. I’ve seen the video but when you see it for real it’s a real sense of satisfaction.
It took about 20 minutes per headlight, and I can’t believe I’ve put up with the yellow lenses for so long.
People have commented on the lack of masking tape and a microfibre cloth but I used ordinary masking tape from B+Q for 3GBP and an old t-shirt. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat. Even my wife said “Wow, that’s amazing” when she saw the finished product.
